The PROTEX®50 Gazebo is also water resistant to 4000mm. This means the fabric can withstand a water column pressure of 4000 millimetres before water starts to penetrate. For this reason, it is considered Waterproof and suitable for moderate to heavy rain and most outdoor activities.

FRAMEWORK
The PROTEX®50 3x3M Gazebo has a 58mm diameter hexagonal profile framework, made from high-quality aluminium, weighing a total of 41kg. The cross-bars, with internal ribbing are concertinaed and the footplates are made from galvanised steel. This provides excellent stability to the structure. The gazebo is fully anchored through these feet. The frame has 5 different height settings, easily adjustable in 75mm increments. Min. height to valance: 190cm, Max. height of valance: 220cm, Min. height to apex: 327cm, Max. height of apex: 357cm. The entire structure is held together with screws and locking nuts that securely and firmly connect the individual parts of the structure. The central vertical strut, with built-in internal spring, forms the apex of the Gazebo and ensures ideal tension of the roof canopy.

CANOPY
The canopy is manufactured from 550g polyester PVC coated textile fabric, which is fully waterproof thanks to thermally taped seams. The weight of the canopy fabric is 8kg. The material is reinforced, with double stitching at all corners and specific stress points. additionally to this the external fabric is ribbed for added strength. There are anchor loops on all corners of the canopy for attaching guy ropes. The canopy is flame retardant to: BS 5438:1989, Colour fastness EN ISO 105 802-2002:5+.
OPTIONAL SIDEWALLS
The sides are manufactured from fully waterproof POLYESTER with an inner PVC coating and a 600D Denier fibre density. The weight of the complete sidewall sets are 20kg. High quality zips are used to connect each panel together vertically. Again, the material is reinforced with double stitching at all corners and specific stress points. A 50mm strip of Velcro runs along the top of each sidewall to connect it to the canopy. Additionally there are 30mm wide Velcro bands on the inside to attached to the concertina sections of the roof and at frequent intervals down the sides to attach to each frame leg ensuring ultimate security and tension to the walls of your Gazebo. Each set of sidewalls comes in a storage bag and consists of 2 window panels with internal privacy blinds, 1 double zipped doorway that can be rolled up and fastened and 1 solid panels. The sidewalls are flame retardant to BS 5438:1989 and BS7837:1996. Colour fastness EN ISO 105 802-2002:5+.
