Can the canopy stay attached to the frame of the Gazebo?

Yes it can. However, it may depend on how the Gazebo is being transported. Leaving the canopy attached will save a few minutes each time you use it but we do not recommend leaving the canopy attached if the shelter is to be transported lying flat in a vehicle. The reason being the vibrations and shaking during transport will cause the frame parts and joints to rub against the fabric and rubber coating. This could cause damage to the canvas and the waterproof coating.

Is it possible to add/extend PROTEX® Gazebo at a later date?

Yes it is. All our Gazebos come in several sizes and whilst the size of each one cannot be altered when erected, you can seamlessly connect multiple frames together. Thanks to our unique guttering system and frame to frame clamps, you can join more Gazebos together creating a larger shelter. For example should a 3m x 3m prove too small in the future, you can purchase another Gazebo of any size and join them by fixing the legs of each unit and the canopies together. This would create a secure connection with no overhead gaps for rain to permeate through. In addition to this we also have Sidewall Infill Strips to connect the walls of your gazebo around the join frame legs preventing any wind draft gaps too.

Can I get spare parts?

Yes. We supply spare parts for all our Gazebos, Event Marquees, Stretch Tents and Event Furniture. Literally any part of the frame can be replaced. Spare canopies, sidewalls, pegs, tie down kits etc are also all available. Some of these items can be ordered directly from our website. Our expert team will be on hand to advise and avoid any confusion.

What type of Gazebo or Marquee is best for me?

This depends on many different aspects. Is it going to be used for a garden or professionally at exhibitions? Or is it for motorsport events etc.? If it is the latter, is it going to be outdoors or indoors? Is the head clearance important? Is the weight and size when folded important? Is it going to stay up for a longer period of time? Is it going to be used on a regular basis or only occasionally? All these questions are necessary to find the best solution. How long does delivery take?

We aim to get all orders placed before 12:00 noon out on Next Day delivery for Mainland UK. Some areas including remote locations such as the Highlands, Isle of Man, Northern Island and Eire may take slightly longer to arrive. If any products are not available when ordered, we will advise you immediately when it will be available again, giving you the option to either wait or change to a different product.

Are the Gazebos and Marquees waterproof?

Yes. All our products are manufactured to a very high level using premium materials and all are designed to be fully waterproof.

Are the Gazebos and Marquees fire retardant?

Yes. All our PRO30, PROTEX®40 and PROTEX®50 Gazebos are Flame Retardant to BS 5438:1989 and BS7837:1996.

Can all our products be printed?

Yes. We are specialists in this field and can literally print anything on our Gazebos, Marquees, Flags, Banners and Inflatables. Using the latest, state of the art, digital printing techniques we can achieve photographic-quality images via full flood dye sublimation printing for a bright and vibrant look. Or for something a little simpler, but equally as eye catching, we offer in-house heat press vinyl transfers. Both options give a bold and stunning visual impact!

We offer a free design and mock-up service with full approval of artwork and can turn your order around usually within 7-10 days and very often within a day or two. The artwork we produce will remain your own property for any future printing requirements you may have. Over the years, we have supplied literally thousands of branded Gazebos, Marquees, Flags, Banners and Inflatables to very satisfied customers. Can I get a new copy of the instruction manual?

Are our Gazebos, Marquees and other products covered by a warranty?

Yes. All our products come with a 12 months warranty subject to our terms and conditions. We also offer longer warranty periods on some of our Gazebos upto 3 years. In addition to this, Our PRO30, PROTEX®40 and PROTEX®50 Gazebos all benefit from a Lifetime Warranty on ALL joints and brackets, which is unique within the industry. We have invested heavily in our spare parts department and carry literally every part that makes up a particular product. This means you can rest assured knowing our Sun Leisure Ltd. product will last you for years to come.

Is it better to purchase 2 smaller Gazebos or one large one?

This is a common question we get asked and really the answer is, it can depend, but generally two smaller Gazebos would be the right answer for most. Smaller gazebos have the benefit of being able to be easier to manoeuvre, handle and erect. So if you are a solo user then two smaller ones are less demanding in terms of the physical strength needed to handle them which might be the way to go for you. To connect them together you will need our Frame to Frame Connectors, Gutter Kit and Sidewall Infill Strips. Manageable on your own or with another and can still be erected in minutes. Most importantly it provides you with the flexibility to alter the size of the covered area. As an example, two of our 3mx3m shelters will cover two separate areas of the same size or can be fixed together creating one 6mx3m area. 

Counter to this would be to have one larger frame. If storage space isn’t an issue and you have the ability or means to manoeuvre it with a team lift then one larger Gazebo does have the added benefit of being easier to erect. As it doesn’t need the connect kits and is one single structure, it can often take less time too.

Do our Gazebos and other structures need to be anchored?

Yes. All structures must be properly anchored. This is essential to avoid wind and storm damage. It is absolutely necessary to prevent the structure from becoming untethered as this might cause not only irreversible damage to the shelter itself but could also lead to damaging other property too. All our Gazebos and Marquees are therefore supplied with a Tie Down Kit but we do recommend using additional methods of anchoring, such as Weights, for adverse weather conditions.
